Jess Yeary, DVM

Dr. Jess was born and raised in Texas on a cattle ranch near Amarillo. His fondness for animals developed as a young man - growing up within the small town country life, ranching work with his father, and working with his mother in wildlife rehabilitation. He proceeded to pursue his professional career at Texas A&M University and received his BS in Animal Science. Then continued on to obtain his DVM from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. During his time in college - he continued to broaden his work with animals. Working in several veterinary hospitals as an assistant, a summer doing reproduction work in a race horse facility, assistance in beef cattle nutrition studies at Texas A&M, and as an assistant in the Texas A&M Veterinary Teaching Hospital Small Animal Emergency Room. He was always the 'traveler' in the family, and moved to Washington State right after graduation from veterinary school in 2010. He immediately fell in love with the central Washington region, and today is proud to call the Selah Community his home!

Lisa Sinner, DVM

Dr. Lisa Sinner grew up exploring the hills of Eastern Oregon. Nearly every weekend was spent camping, hiking, fishing, backpacking or picking huckleberries with her family and trusty Border Collie at her side. She has a true love for animals and knew in the 1st grade that she would become a veterinarian. During her undergraduate studies in animal science at Oregon State University, she spent her summers working as a wildland firefighter and at a veterinary clinic in her home town. She received her DVM from the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lisa joined Selah Veterinary Hospital in July of 2014 and fell in love with the area immediately. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in surgery. In her off-time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends outside in nature. Although mostly an adventurer, she also likes staying inside to enjoy a good book or movie, or play board games. Dr. Lisa is excited to be a part of the Selah community and can't wait to serve you and all your four-legged companions.

Patricia Lyon, DVM

Dr. Patricia Lyon is a WSU Veterinary College Graduate and comes to Selah with experience in other clinics in Eastern and Western Washington, along with previous work in Pennslyvania. Before becoming a veterinarian, she worked in computer programming, and was a social worker specializing in special needs adoption. Her passion, aside from working with people and their pets, is travel. She has been blessed to have been able to visit all 50 states, and has done over 20 short-term Christian mission trips all over the world. In her missionary travels, she has visited over 15 countries serving people and their animals in some of the poorest regions in those area's.
